Full disclosure: I have no idea why this bread (almost) tastes like sour dough, but it really does. And it’s soft, holds up when slicing, and absolutely delicious.
Hearty and delicious with a bit of a kick to it.
Odds are that you’ve never heard of this dish which takes its name from Brown Hotel in Louisville, KY where it originated. It is rich and delicious, and it’s a great way to use that leftover turkey.
It was my first time trying gnocchi, and I told my wife it felt familiar, like a “posh chicken and dumplings”. Rich and savory with quite a bit of visual appeal.
