Easy Banana Bread (Bread Machine)
Our son loves this banana bread. It is lightly sweet and has a great texture. And best of all, the bread machine does all of the heavy lifting.

Maple Nut Syrup
1-1/4 cup white corn syrup 1/2 cup water 1/2 cup sugar 1 cup walnuts 1 teaspoon maple flavoring Directions: In a sauce pan, mix corn syrup, water, and sugar. Bring to a boil, and simmer for 10 minutes until thick. Stir in walnuts and maple flavoring.
Peach Smoothie
21 oz can peach fruit filling 1/2 cup plain yogurt 1 medium banana 3 cups ice cubes Directions: Place all ingredients in blender. Blend until smooth.

German Banana Nut Bread
1 stick (1/2 cup) butter or margarine, well creamed 1-1/2 cups sugar 2 eggs 1 teaspoon vanilla 3 cups all-purpose flour 3 large bananas, mashed 1/4 cup buttermilk 1-1/2 teaspoon baking soda 1 cup chopped nuts Direction: Preheat over to 300 F. Corn Muffins
2-1/2 cups corn muffin mix 1 egg 1-1/4 cups milk Directions: Preheat oven to 425 F. Mix ingredients in bowl. In oiled or greased muffin tin, fill each space 2/3 full. Bake 15 to 20 minutes. (Granny’s Note: Or pour into a 8×8-inch pan and bake for 25 minutes.)
