Garlic Grits Casserole

  • 1/2 cup instant grits, cooked according to package
  • 1 roll (6 ounces) garlic cheese, cubed
  • 1/4 cup margarine, melted
  • 2 eggs, slightly beaten
  • 1 cup milk


  1. Preheat oven to 350 F.
  2. Add cheese and margarine to grits, stirring until cheese melts.
  3. Combine eggs and milk; stir into grits.
  4. Transfer to a lightly-greased 1 quart casserole dish. (I think that’s going to be an 8- x 8-inch dish.)
  5. Bake for 45 minutes or until golden brown and set.
