Though she didn’t know it at the time, Granny started this cookbook back in the 1950s when she began collecting all of her recipes. In 2012, she made us copies of her favorites, and in 2019, I moved the operation online.
If you’re new here, allow me to give you the dime tour. Unlike most recipe websites, you will not find ads in our recipes (or long-winded, ad-space-creating articles preceding them).
If you’d like to hear more about our matriarch, head over to the “About” section. If you know what kind of recipe you’re looking for, there is a search bar down at the bottom of this page. And if you’d just like to browse for some good eatin’, check out the “Recipes” section to get started. (The “Don’t Starve” area, well, that has it’s own description on the page, so feel free to check it out if you’re curious.)
I hope you enjoy your time here, and if you find something you really like or if you have a variation you’d like to note, drop it down in the comments. Happy cooking!
