Italian Herb Pizza Dough (Bread Machine)

  • 2-1/4 teaspoons (1 package) dried yeast
  • 3 cups bread flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 2 tablespoons Italian seasoning (or 1 tablespoon oregano and 1 tablespoon basil)
  • 2 teaspoons garlic powder
  • 2 teaspoons onion powder
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 cup and 2 tablespoons luke-warm water

Directions:

  1. In a small mixing bowl, whisk together flour, salt, sugar, Italian seasoning, garlic powder and onion powder until well combined.
  2. Put water and oil into bread machine. Pour flour into bread machine. Using a finger or spatula, create a shallow well (indention) in the flour. Place yeast into the well.
  3. Set bread machine to dough setting. Depending on your bread machine, dough make need to be removed to allow to rise.
  4. If you like thinner crust pizza, recipe makes enough for 2 medium pizzas (or 4 calzones).
