These are perfect for times when you’re feeling sick or just need a little boost. I’ve also found that they are great for controlling the urge to snack between meals. They’re only 10 to 16 calories each and take 2 minutes to heat in the microwave. Stir until the bullion cubes dissolve, and if you don’t like the chewy bits, you can strain them out.
Chicken & Chives
- 2 chicken bullion cubes
- 1 teaspoon dried chives
- 1-1/2 cups water
Spicy (or not so spicy) Chicken
- 2 chicken bullion cubes
- 1/8 teaspoon ground cumin
- Pinch of thyme
- Optional: pinch of ground red pepper
- 1-1/2 cups water
WOW… I have never thought about doing this for a snack. Definitely something that I’m going to do!!
