- 3 oz cream cheese
- 8 oz (2 cups) extra sharp cheddar cheese, shredded
- 8 oz (2 cups) extra sharp white cheddar cheese, shredded
- 4 oz (1 cup) Gruyere cheese (or Swiss Cheese)
- 1 cup mayonnaise
- 4 oz jar diced pimento, drained
- 1/2 cup finely chopped green bell pepper
- 1/3 cup finely chopped onion
- 1 small jalapeno pepper, stemmed, seeded, and minced
- 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- Optional: crumbled bacon, toasted pecans, or chopped green onion
- Dippers: celery sticks, carrot sticks, pita chips, and/or crackers
Directions:
- Beat cream cheese in mixing bowl for 30 seconds.
- Gradually stir in other cheeses.
- Beat in mayonnaise.
- Stir in pimentos, bell pepper, onion, jalapeno, Worcestershire sauce, and cayenne.
- Optional: Stir in additional ingredients.
