(Granny’s Note: For pound cake, bread pudding, or ginger bread.)
- 1/4 cup Lemon Pie Filling Mix or
- 1/8 cup Country Time Lemonade Mix
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- Slight less than 1 tablespoon sugar
- Dash of salt
- 1 cup water
- 2 tablespoons butter
- Combine Filling mix (or Lemonade mix, cornstarch, sugar, and salt) and water in small saucepan.
- Bring to boil, stirring constantly until thickened.
- Stir in butter.
- Serve warm.
