- 8 slices bread
- 8 eggs
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 teaspoon mustard
- salt and pepper to taste
- 1-1/2 cups cheddar cheese
- 1 lb pork sausage, browned and drained
Directions:
- Tear bread into pieces and layer in 9×13-inch baking dish.
- Beat eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Add cheese and mix.
- Pour over bread in casserole dish.
- Sprinkle sausage on top.
- Refrigerate overnight. (Or don’t, and take a few minutes off the cook time)
- Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
