Breakfast Casserole

  • 8 slices bread
  • 8 eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 teaspoon mustard
  • salt and pepper to taste
  • 1-1/2 cups cheddar cheese
  • 1 lb pork sausage, browned and drained

Directions:

  1. Tear bread into pieces and layer in 9×13-inch baking dish.
  2. Beat eggs, milk, mustard, salt and pepper. Add cheese and mix.
  3. Pour over bread in casserole dish.
  4. Sprinkle sausage on top.
  5. Refrigerate overnight. (Or don’t, and take a few minutes off the cook time)
  6. Bake at 350 F for 45 minutes.
