Peach Trifle

  • 3 oz vanilla pudding mix (not instant)
  • 1-3/4 cups milk
  • 6 oz and 6 oz Cool Whip, divided
  • 5 fresh peaches (about 2 lbs), peeled and sliced
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 loaf pan-sized pound cake, cut into cubes
  • 1/2 cup orange juice


  1. Mix pudding mix and milk in saucepan; bring to boil over medium heat, stirring constantly.
  2. Remove from heat; cool.
  3. Fold in 6 oz Cool Whip. Set aside.
  4. Put peaches in separate bowl; sprinkle sugar over peaches. Set aside.
  5. In a trifle dish or any cut glass bowl, layer in order:
    1. 1/2 cake crumbsDrizzle with half of orange juice1/2 peaches1/2 pudding mixRepeat with second half.
  6. Top with 6 oz Cool Whip
  7. Cover and chill at least 2 hours.
