Butterscotch Haystacks

  • 11 oz bag butterscotch morsels
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 2 cans (5 oz each; 10 oz total) chow mein noodles
  • 1/4 teaspoon coarse salt
  • 1/2 to 1 cup small marshmallows


  1. Place morsels and peanut butter in microwave safe bowl. Microwave on medium-high for 1 minute. Stir until melted.
  2. Stir in chow mein noodles and marshmallows.
  3. Cover a baking sheet with wax paper.
  4. Drop noodle mixture by spoonfuls onto paper.
  5. Sprinkle with salt.
  6. Refrigerate until set, about 30 minutes.
