Boiled Shrimp

  • 2 lbs shrimp
  • 1 qt water
  • 1 small onion (sweet) or onion powder
  • Celery Leaves or Celery Salt
  • 1 Bay Leaf
  • 1/2 cup White Vinegar
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Dash of Tabasco (I think, really hard to read her writing)


  1. Combine all ingredients other than shrimp in a pot.
  2. Bring to a boil.
  3. Add shrimp.
  4. Boil for 2 to 5 minutes until shrimp is pink.
  5. Let sit. (Something follows this, but I can’t read it.)
  6. Drain.
