- 1 lb ground beef
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 1/2 green bell pepper, chopped
- 2 cups tomatoes, cooked or canned
- 6 oz can tomato paste
- 1-1/2 teaspoons salt
- 1/8 teaspoon black pepper
- 18 oz pkg of spaghetti
- Grated cheese (as desired)
Directions:
- Brown ground beef in frying pan (or skillet). Drain.
- Add onion and green bell pepper, and cook for a few minutes (3-5 minutes).
- Add remaining ingredients (except for spaghetti and cheese).
- Cover and simmer for 50 minutes or until sauce is of desired consistency.
- Cook spaghetti according to directions on package. Drain.
- Serve spaghetti with meat sauce and cheese.
