- 6 medium (4 cups) baking apples, pared and sliced or 1 can sliced apples or apple pie filling
- 2/3 cup light brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour (all-purpose or self-rising)
- 1/2 oats
- 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
- 3/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/3 cup butter, room temperature
Directions:
- Preheat oven to 375 F.
- Place apples in oiled or greased 8×8-inch or 10×6-inch baking dish.
- Blend remaining ingredients until mixed well.
- Mixture will be crumbly; spread over apples.
- Bake 30 to 35 minutes until golden brown.
