- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 small onion, chopped
- 1 bell pepper, chopped
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 cup vinegar
- 1/2 cup vegetable oil
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
Directions:
- Mix cabbage, onion, and bell pepper in a large bowl.
- In a sauce pan over medium high heat, cook vinegar and sugar, stirring until sugar is melted.
- Add oil, water, and salt. Heat until steaming.
- Pour over vegetables. Cover and refrigerate 24 hours.
