- 2 lbs ground sirloin
- 1 large onion, chopped
- 2 to 3 (qty) 15 oz cans pinto beans
- 17 oz can whole kernel corn (do not drain)
- 8 oz picante sauce
- 28 oz can crushed tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon cumin
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- Brown sirloin and onions; drain.
- Put into large pot with remaining ingredients.
- Heat to boil.
- Optional: Water can be added to if too thick. Can be served with sour cream and/or grated cheese.
