Alfredo Sauce

  • 1/2 cup butter or margarine
  • 1/2 cup evaporated milk or heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • Dash pepper

Directions:

  1. In a sauce pan, stir butter and milk constantly over medium heat until butter is melted and starts to bubble.
  2. Reduce heat to low, stir in cheese, salt, and pepper.
  3. Simmer 6 minutes, stirring frequently, until slightly thick.
  4. Serve over cooked fettucine.
